TIPPU PALACE
Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace in Srirangapatna, also referred to as Dariya Daulat Bagh was being used as summer retreat by former Mysuru ruler, Tipu Sultan. Tipu Sultan’s summer palace was built during 1778-1784 AD. Construction of the palace was
initiated by Hyder Ali (Tipu Sultan’s father) and completed by Tipu Sultan. Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace has two stories, built with wood, mortar, stone and plaster. Huge garden area surrounds the palace. Interiors are well decorated with floral
motifs and paintings showcasing historic events and battles. Tipu Sultan’s burial grounds are also nearby.
BULL TEMPLE
The Bull Temple, also called by other names such as Nandi Temple and Dodda Basavana Gudi, is among the most remarkable and oldest temples in Bangalore. As the name suggests, it is dedicated to Nandi, the sacred bull who is revered as a Hindu Demi-God
and the vehicle or mount of Lord Shiva
ISKCON
One of the largest ISKCON temples in the world, Sri Radha Krishna Temple at Rajajinagar in Bangalore is amongst the prime religious attractions of the city. The temple and its cultural complex were inaugurated on 31st May 1997 by Dr. Shankar Dayal
Sharma, the then President of India. This splendid religious centre was constructed under the guidance of Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa, the president of ISKCON Bangalore Society. The architecture of this temple displays an exceptional amalgam of
glass and gopuram that is symbolic of the union between traditional styles and modern aesthetics. Other prominent features of the temple include a gold-plated flag post (17 m high) and a gold-plated kalash shikara (8.5 m high). The temple

HIGH COURT
On the green, sprawling lawns of Cubbon Park is the Attara Kacheri, which is the home of the High Court of Karnataka. It is in the heart of the City of Bangalore (now Bengaluru), opposite Vidhana Soudha, which houses the State Legislature, and
the Secretariat. The road in between the pillars of democracy is aptly named ‘Ambedkar Veedhi’ in honour of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, clearly separating the Executive from the Judiciary.
